A former lawyer and political & policy adviser, Max was educated at the Australian National University and the University of Oxford and is undertaking a PhD in Law. Max speaks on the intersection between faith, culture, economics, finance, technology and moral reasoning.

Becky is a 22-year-old from Auckland, New Zealand, who was born and raised in a loving Christian family alongside three siblings. From a young age, Becky was encouraged to seek truth and ask questions, an attribute that she is grateful for as it has influenced her personal and professional pursuits.

Rowan Locke

Rowan Locke is deeply passionate about equipping Christians with conversational tools that can help them have more effective discussions with both believing and non-believing friends, family, colleagues, and strangers. He believes that these conversations are crucial for sharing the Gospel and helping others come to a deeper understanding of the Christian faith.

Jeff Tallon

Professor Jeff Tallon is known internationally for his research and discoveries in high-Tc superconductors (HTS), which are currently being developed for applications across all sectors—health, transport, energy, mining and minerals processing, telecommunications and information technology, as well as research

Brendan Malone

Brendan has been equipping audiences at conferences, churches, schools and other events for more than 20 years. He is a passionate communicator who believes that the Christian tradition offers an enduring and dependable guide to discerning goodness, truth and beauty.

Henare Whaanga

Henare is passionate about apologetics and empowering others to defend their faith. He also has a deep love for Māori history and culture. Henare is widely regarded as a great guy who is dedicated to serving others and making a positive impact in his community.

Matthew Price

Matthew has a passion for exploring the interface of Christianity with science and culture, and demonstrating, rather than science explaining the gaps in our understanding.

Madeline Flannagan

Madeleine began her law degree at the University of Waikato where she was elected Vice-President of the student body.

Kristopher Bate

Kristopher is the Founding Director of Thinking Faith Ministries and serves as the Co-Artistic Director for the award-winning production company The Unity Creative. He describes himself as ’Father of two, husband of one, servant of Jesus.’

Todd Funk

Todd‘s messages, teaching and ministry have powerfully impacted people of all ages on several continents. He has spoken for Thinking Matters at our Confident Christianity conferences and Unshaken Youth & Young Adult Conference and has been involved in men’s ministries and accountability groups for over 15 years.

Michelle Englehardt

Michelle believes passionately that apologetics training is vital for Christian evangelism in today’s culture.

Keresi MacKenzie

Keresi is a Fijian-Kiwi based in Ōtepoti Dunedin. For the past nine years she’s been helping uni students discover the beauty of Jesus and his story, with a recent research focus on sexuality and gender.

Aidan Harrison

With 20 years of teaching experience in Christchurch, he spent the first 6 years teaching in a Te Reo Māori bilingual unit and also taught in Canada for a year. Aidan holds a Master of Education in Māori immersion studies (Hōaka Pounamu)
